ABOUT US

SoHumble, which is short for ‘Soham’s Ensemble’ is a multilingual, multi-genre band formed by vocalist and composer Soham Mallick in August, 2023.

SoHumble is what you get when you pair the profound lyrical and melodic depth of a singer/ songwriter and a linguist with a dynamic, versatile and nuanced set of musicians coming together in a band. As a result, the music that gets created pushes the boundaries of genres and languages and creates a unique identity of its own thereby equipping it to stand the test of time.

Meet the Band

Soham Mallick

(Vocals, Guitars)

When I’m not singing or playing the guitar, I’m busy screaming at players during a cricket match, making cinnamon flavoured cocktails, and indulging my loved ones with home cooked food.

Hanujeet Singh

(Drums)

When I’m not playing the drums, you will find me doing the traditional Bhangra, bickering with Mr. Kapil Sharwa , and hijacking birthday parties.

Kapil Sharwa

(keyboards)

When I am not playing the keyboard… you will find me admiring my beautiful hair, bickering with Mr. Hanujeet and brightening my teeth for the Colgate smile.

Zaja Kithan

(Lead Guitars)

When I am not playing the guitar, I dye my hair in bright colours, learn new slangs in Hindi from my bandmates, and I share memes.

Prashant Gazmer

(Bass Guitar)

When I am not playing the bass guitar, I watch crass Bollywood comedies, help restore order within the band, and regret being the senior-most of the lot.

(Violin)

When I am not playing violin, I ride my scooty all over Delhi and have dinner when it’s time for breakfast. I know the best eating spots in Old Delhi.
